Minimum 2 years experience as Kitchen Manager/General Manager/Assistant KM or GM or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of baking or closely related kitchen experience
Strong leadership skills
Attention to detail
Able to multitask, strong communication, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with basic math skills
Have a valid driver s license and comfortable driving the Shoofly van if needed
Able to stand up to 10 hour days and lift up to 50lb safely
Must have an OLCC and Food Handler s card or be able to get one before starting
Be a team player and have a positive attitude
Open availability and willingness to cover shifts Reliable transportation

Supervise cafe FOH and wholesale operations
Responsible for daily production planning and forecasting
Ability to communicate and enforce staff s sanitation/food safety/work performance
Comfortable with baking tasks that include mixing
batters/cookies/bread, rolling cinnamon rolls, scooping cookies/muffins, forming scones by hand
Assist with inventory and work with inventory shift leads
Ensure all kitchen equipment is operable and help resolve any issues if not
Assist in interviewing, hiring, training, and staffing
Help create a safe and comfortable space for staff and patrons
Preferred experience
Cake decorating and/or barista experience (or willing to learn)
Knowledge of basic QuickBooks and other relevant software
Willing to learn relevant software
Experience using social media applications

Wholesale Baker

We are looking to hire another part-time wholesale baker for our team. Our wholesale crew works evenings from 3 pm-11 pm. We are looking for someone to work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Experience: Must have 1 to 2 years of baking or kitchen experience,

Job Duties: Interested applicants must understand that everything we do is in big batches! Our batters are made at 30 quarts each, we make 60 lb cookie batters, and we roll out up to 150 cinnamon rolls every evening. Duties include making muffins, scones, cookies, and quickbreads, putting pastries in their designated bins to be sent out for wholesale, and cleaning up. Ability to stand for long hours, lift 50lbs, work well with others, multi-task, and is a night owl. Must have the ability to follow a recipe and manage time efficiently.
